The most dangerous things for dogs
Grapes and raisins can cause acute kidney failure and must never be given, regardless of amount. Xylitol โ found in sugar-free gum, candy, and even some peanut butter โ can cause acute low blood sugar and liver failure even in small amounts, making it an emergency. Onion, garlic, and alcohol are also dangerous beyond small amounts. If ingestion is confirmed, contact a vet immediately even without symptoms, because liver/kidney damage shows up late.

Do not force vomiting โ the vet will treat it safely
At night, look up a 24-hour emergency clinic in advance
Contact a vet even if there are no symptoms (vomiting, lethargy, tremors, seizures)
